Dream trip goes to Game of Thrones enthusiast!

After receiving many submissions, we’re thrilled to announce the winning board, ‘Dreaming of Dubrovnik’ by Rachel Whatmore from Wiltshire. She showed her passion for visiting the sets and soaking up the history of locations she’s enjoyed as a Game of Thrones fan.

In the next few months, Rachel and her fiance will jet off on an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubrovnik in Croatia which has provided the backdrop to key scenes in the Game of Thrones series, such as the Battle of the Blackwater. Rachel will be welcomed into the same Airbnb property that hosted the cast when they were filming, complete with a view of the very beach featured in the battle. While there, Rachel and her Airbnb host will pin the activities they plan to do and the locations they’ll visit to inspire the hordes of fans looking to do something similar while they await the new series.

A scientist by day, Rachel uses Pinterest to unleash her creativity on everything from her favourite egg related recipes and garden party ideas, to fabulous UK beaches and insect inspired interiors.

We couldn’t have been more thrilled with the thoughtful submissions from the community with everything from salsa dancing in Havana to pastry making in Istanbul. Thank everyone for participating.
