Pinterest is the world’s catalogue of ideas. Helping you discover and do what you love. With endless lesson planning inspiration, kids activities, and educational resources, Pinterest is quickly becoming a go-to for teachers planning future classes, projects and workshops.

In the lead up to Red Nose Day, Pinterest and Comic Relief are inviting teachers to pin their fundraising ideas to Pinterest as part of our Teacher Fundraising contest. The prize? A visit to your school from a mystery celebrity!

Any teacher (on behalf of their school) in the UK can win.

 

All you have to do is:

1. Create a board called ‘Fundraising Ideas – Red Nose Day Contest’. Pin fundraising ideas to your board (this could be anything from kids craft activities and sponsored challenges to bake sale recipes) that you find inspirational.

2. In the board description, tell us how you hope to raise money for Red Nose Day.

3. Send us your board via this form here. Closing date Friday 10 March 2017.

There will be some smaller weekly prizes too! Each week we’ll be sending out a Comic Relief plush and package of Pinterest goodies for a winning teacher (and their school).

Larger celebrity contest ends 10.03.2017. Pinterest and Comic Relief will choose the winner of the celebrity visit at random from all submissions.

Teacher Fundraising Contest Terms & Conditions:

1. This contest is free to enter, so long as you are a teacher in the UK, working at a UK school.

2. You must be 18 years or older

3. The closing date for the contest is 10 March 2017.

4. To enter, participant needs to pin their fundraising ideas to a newly created board on Pinterest called ‘Fundraising Ideas – Red Nose Day Contest’ and submit via wufoo form above.

5. Celebrity visit winner will be picked at random by Pinterest and Comic Relief on 13 March 2017. Winner will be announced on Friday 17 March 2017.

6. One submission per teacher (on behalf of their UK school).

7. Winner and school must be okay with participating in media.

8. Overall Prize; Celebrity visit to chosen school (celebrity will be announced nearer the time – subject to change) on an allocated morning or afternoon between 20 - 24 March 2017 (date tbc on celebrity availability).

9. Weekly prize: Red Nose soft toy​ and Pinterest package of goodies (subject to availability). Weekly prize picked at random every Friday from 20 January 2017 - 10 March 2017.
